We have completed our week with dramatist Julian Boal. This is a steppingstones creative project. We have organised:
22nd February – The Lowry Theatre: 20 people attending, 8 supporting staff from TALKTALK
23rd February– The Whitworth: 35 – 40 people attending
24/25th February – The Pyramid, Warrington. A two day workshop with 20 – 25 young people attending
Michael Appleyard writes “Finished a very hectic and successful, series of workshops with the dramatist/activist Julian Boal. Workshops were held at The Lowry, the Whitworth and The Pyramid, Warrington. It looks like we will develop a new Warrington group, specialising in delivering this method of drama, enabling young people to express their views; a group of volunteers from TalkTalk; increased profile for steppingstones creative; amongst many other pluses. So a very successful week.”
